Continuous Lid Plugging System
The CLPS-VO is a rotary cap-lid plugging system with a vision orientation feature to align caps and containers to a specific position. The CLPS-VO utilizes state of the art vision camera technology that detects the random orientation of each cap/lid and the canister. Servo driven side belts rotate each cap and canister into the desired orientation prior to entering the main turret ensuring that each cap/lid is oriented in relationship to the printing on the canister.
Cam-actuated chucks are utilized to apply the lid/plug to the container in a controlled, precise manner. A centering star is used (most cases) to precisely align the lid/plug with the container as it is being applied to the container.
